Ranveer Singh - Dhurandhar The Revenge
The upcoming spy action spectacle Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is creating massive buzz ahead of its theatrical debut. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film has recorded an outstanding response in advance ticket sales across India.
According to early trade reports, the film has already sold more than 10 lakh tickets for its opening day, indicating extraordinary excitement among moviegoers. With two days still left before the release, the advance booking numbers are expected to climb even higher.
The film’s opening day advance booking has crossed ₹50 crore gross in India, including collections from paid premiere shows scheduled before the official release.
A major share of the advance sales has come from the premiere screenings. Reports suggest that premiere bookings alone have generated more than ₹33 crore gross, making it one of the biggest premiere performances ever seen for an Indian film.
Meanwhile, the pure opening day advance sales stand at nearly ₹16 crore gross, with around 3.60 lakh tickets sold for regular shows.
In total, over 7.10 lakh tickets have been booked for premiere screenings, which are scheduled across more than 23,000 shows nationwide.
Interestingly, despite having a runtime of nearly four hours, the film is still witnessing extremely strong ticket demand across the country.
Since ticket sales opened, the film has maintained strong momentum across major multiplex chains. Many theatres have reported fast-filling shows, especially in metropolitan cities and key markets.
Trade experts believe the current pace of ticket sales suggests the film could deliver one of the biggest opening days ever recorded for a Bollywood release.
If the booking trend continues, the final opening day advance booking could cross ₹75 crore gross, which would be a historic figure for the industry.
The excitement for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is not limited to the domestic market. The film is also receiving strong advance booking in several international territories.
Countries like North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia have reported impressive ticket sales, reflecting the film’s global appeal.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal alongside Ranveer Singh.
The sequel continues the high-stakes spy universe established by the first Dhurandhar, which turned out to be a major box office success.
With record-breaking advance bookings, strong pre-release buzz, and huge audience anticipation, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is now gearing up for a potentially historic opening at the box office when it releases later this week.
